Pandu

A panda that counts every reel you scroll past.

You did not mean to watch forty reels. Nobody does. The feed is built so that one more is always easier than stopping, and by the time you notice, the evening is gone.

Pandu sits on top of Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Reels and quietly keeps count. It appears when you open a reel feed and leaves when you do. Not a blocker and not a lecture — just a number you cannot help seeing, in the place where the scrolling happens.

What it does

The panda reacts

As the count climbs toward your limit, Pandu's mood shifts — chill, focused, uneasy, and finally a meltdown in tears. You feel the number rising without reading it. Pick a panda, bunny, dog or cat, or a different animal per mood.

Set a limit, choose what happens

Decide how many reels a day is enough. Past it, Pandu can do nothing, nudge you, blur the feed, or lock scrolling until you snooze it — and repeat back the reason you gave for wanting to stop.

Wink to scroll

Optional. Pandu Blink reads how open your eyes are and turns winks into gestures: right for the next reel, left to go back, both eyes to play or pause. Every gesture has its own switch, and Pandu will not tap an advertisement on your behalf.

See where the time went

A calendar of every day, a streak of days you stayed under your limit, and charts by day, week, month and year. Tap any bar or date for the exact numbers.

Private because it cannot be otherwise

No internet permission

Pandu is not able to send your data anywhere. That is not a promise about what we choose to do — the app does not request network access at all, so there is no connection for anything to travel over.

No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising. Your counts live on your phone and are deleted when you uninstall.

If you turn on Pandu Blink, camera frames go to a face model running on your own device and are discarded immediately. No image is stored, shown, or sent, and there is no camera preview anywhere in the app.

What Pandu asks for
